Tearful boyfriend shares heartbreaking tribute to YouTube star Nicole Thea, 20, who died along with their unborn son

THE heartbroken boyfriend of pregnant YouTube star Nicole Thea has spoken for the first time since her death, saying their unborn son Reign "went with mummy".

Nicole, 24, died at her home in Hexborough, Yorkshire, in July after telling her partner Global Boga that she was suffering from chest and back pains.

The star, who had 106,000 subscribers on the video platform, was eight months pregnant with her son Reign, who also tragically passed away.

Her uncle Charles Murray said the family believe Nicole suffered a "massive heart attack".

One month on from the tragedy, devastated Global, 20, shared a video on Nicole's YouTube channel titled "what's happening".

Breaking down into tears, Boga said: "Our son was born, our son came…then I don't know what happened and then Reign went with mummy."

He described Nicole as "the happiest person on earth".

In the 12-minute clip, he said: "Nobody understands what I'm going through and nobody ever will. Nobody ever can."

The musician went on to praise Nicole's fans for the support they have shown since her death.

He said: "I know you guys loved Nicole. You loved her so much.

“You made us feel so special, she'd want the love to continue."

Nicole had been struggling to breathe in the weeks before her death and had told her followers that she felt like something was killing her from inside.

Uncle Mr Murray said: "From what I heard at the moment, we think she had a massive heart attack.

"It is so surreal as she was so young. It is such a shock. It has really, really shaken us all up."

Mr Murray said his niece, who was a dancer, was fit and healthy and had no underlying health issues.

Nicole had regularly updated her quarter of a million social media followers on preparations for the arrival of her baby.

Nicole's heartbroken mum said "our hearts are truly broken".

No cause of death was revealed in the post.

In the post written on Instagram, Nicole's mum Samantha said: "To all Nicole's friends and supporters it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and [partner] Boga named Reign sadly passed away.

"Nicole [had] pre-scheduled a few YouTube videos and Boga has made the decision to allow them to be aired.

"As a family we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened.

"Thank you her mum RIP.

"My beautiful baby girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign.

"I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven."

Shortly before the announcement was made, a scheduled behind-the-scenes vlog was posted on YouTube showing her having a milk bath during a maternity photo shoot.

In a video, posted on July 1, she posted a video titled "the worst thing about my pregnancy".

In the clip, she told her followers: "I'm more emotional. Literally I could be fine one minute and then the next second I'm crying.

"I'm having a good pregnancy, but emotions are just too much.

"I'm so out of breath 27/4. I would walk from here to the end of the room and feel like I'm dying.

"I feel like the baby's eating me."

Nicole had announced her pregnancy on Instagram, along with boyfriend Global, also known as Jeffrey Frimpong, telling her followers: "We can't hide this any longer, secrets out…God gave us the biggest blessing yet.

"I'm finally creating a beautiful little human inside of me.

"Can't believe this bubba will be half of me and half of the loml.

"Honestly, @global_boga has been the best support ever and God made no mistakes making him the father.

"We are already obsessed with you, our little miracle baby.

"Thank you for choosing us to be your parents and best friends."

Nicole's friends and family paid tribute to the popular influencer.

Chanel Ambrose wrote on Instagram: "I literally cannot believe I am posting this, but this has broken my heart so deeply. Our beautiful baby girl Nicole Thea sadly passed with her baby boy, Baby Reign.

"What haunts me is how you can be here and then gone the next. I woke up yesterday to your blue hearts in my direct messages, to then hear this hours later.

"It still hasn't quite sunk in. I'm in bits. You had so much energy, you had a beautiful so many plans, we had plans Nic, I was planning your gift, I was looking forward to seeing my nephew…I just can’t. This is painful.

"I’m in bits, the community are in bits. I cannot imagine how Boga and your family are handling such a huge loss…my prayers are deeply with Boga. Please everyone, pray for Boga and the family, this is tragic. I will always love you Nicole."
