Thousands of boozy darts fans descend on Ally Pally dressed as hot dogs, leprechauns and The Grinch for World Championships

• An event where leprechauns and elves unite, some 46,000 pints will be downed 

Thousands of boozy darts fans descended on Ally Pally dressed as hot dogs, bananas and Where’s Wally.

Today was day 11 of the Cazoo World Darts Championships at Alexandra Palace and excited fans went all out.

Leprechauns accompanied by multiple Buddy the Elves, groups of chicken and chips, and even The Grinch were spotted enjoying the festivities.

One group of pals even arrived wearing breakfast morph suits covered in egg, beans and tomatoes.

Leprechauns and multiple Buddy the Elves seemed the group together for the big event

Even The Grinch made it out to join in on the festivities, seemingly a sarts fan if not a Christmas one

A runaway banana appeared to be making a break for it outside Alexandra Palace

The group of Ali Gs won’t have been the only ones with alcohol on their mind. 

Organisers reckon around 750,000 pints will be sold over the course of the tournament. 

To break that down, that’s a staggering 46,875 pints a day.

The race for tickets was manic as the PDC put tickets for its annual tournament on sale back in July. Within days of their release, the majority of them had been snapped up.

And what a turnout, with entire fruitbowls making it to the tournament alongside Where’s Wally, who was finally found. 

Thee whole fruit bowl arrived to get drunk, as the event is expected to seealomost 47,000 pints downed a day

And at last Where’s Wally was spotted, three times, enjoying themselves as the drama unfolded

The grandmas made it out to celebrate their love of darts, with one group dressed just a little older than their age

We’re saved! Superman and Superwoman swept in on the event to enjoy some booze and darts

Usually causing chaos, Jim Carrey’s character from The Mask was seen heckling as he drank from a beer jug

And one family even cam dressed as the dartboard itself to celebrate the sport

The arena was inundated with excited revellers causing all sorts of chaos as they carried their jugs of beer around with them as they sang and danced their way to their seats. 

Even the grandmas made it out to have a drink and enjoy some darts, with one group of friends dressed a little past their own age. 

Superman and Superwoman made a special appearance, and even Jim Carrey’s character from The Mask could be seen enjoying a jug of beer.

Some people even dressed as the dartboard itself!

Day 11 of the £2.5m tournament sees six third round ties take place, with two-time World Champion Gary Anderson headlining the afternoon’s action against three-time TV semi-finalist Chris Dobey.

The characters from Shrek were also seen enjoying themselves at the iconic building in north London

More leprechauns were spotted smartly dressed for the occasion and hopefully feeling lucky

Even Donald Trump himself was spotted, twice! The former president looking sensibly orange for the event

A man even came dressed as a bottle of beer in order to drink it 

Cheering on their favourite player were a squad of pink-adorned cheerleaders

And Snow White turned out with her seven dwarfs to watch the drama unfold

Not everyone looked delighted, with a jolly jumper not enough to make this man smile 

Some people even came dressed as traffic cones, to seemingly keep traffic in and out of the venue running smoothly

Chaos ensued when a matador and bull went to war bullfighting amid the excitement of the day

Not everyone looked delighted to be there however, with one reveller in a very jolly looking Christmas jumper and antlers appearing rather bored.

The seven dwarfs accompanied by Snow White also managed to make it to anticipated event.
