KING Charles III will face a number of changes over the coming weeks – including to his royal residences.
His Majesty, 73, automatically became King when the Queen died peacefully at Balmoral yesterday.
He will be formally proclaimed monarch at a historic Accession Council meeting at St James's Palace tomorrow.
And while he will take over Buckingham Palace from his late mother, his living arrangements have not yet been formally confirmed.
Here's what we know so far.
Will King Charles live in Buckingham Palace?
There has been speculation in recent years that Charles would not live at Buckingham Palace, opting to stay rather at his current home, Clarence House.
However, a friend of the King's recently told the Mail on Sunday: "Despite what everybody thinks about him not wanting to live there, he will certainly have accommodation there – but it will be a much more modest flat-above-the-shop situation akin to that of the Prime Minister at Downing Street."

The pal added: "Both the Prince and the Duchess of Cornwall are very practical and see that the reigning Monarch must live at Buckingham Palace, otherwise it would become like Hampton Court' – a visitor attraction rather than a working royal palace."
Buckingham Palace, which is undergoing a ten-year, £369 million renovation, is set to open up on a much greater scale, with public access all year round.
Meanwhile, the Monarch's living quarters – which include 52 Royal and guest bedrooms and 188 staff bedrooms – are expected to be cut down.
When will King Charles move to Buckingham Palace?
It has not yet been confirmed when, or whether, Charles would make the move.
He has got a busy schedule ahead of him, including an audience with the Prime Minister this afternoon.
He is then due to pre-record an address in the early evening as Britain enters a period of mourning.

Which other properties does King Charles have?
Charles currently has homes in England, Scotland and Wales.
These include Clarence House – the official London residence which until now, he has shared with Camilla – and Highgrove House near Tetbury, Glos., the couple's family home.
He also holds his private residence in Scotland – Birkhall – on the Balmoral estate, Royal Deeside.
Llwynywermod, near Llandovery in Carmarthenshire, is Their Royal Highnesses' Welsh home.
He will now also inherit Sandringham in Norfolk, which is privately owned by the Royal Family.
A source previously told The Mail on Sunday: "Everybody recognises it makes no sense to run so many residences but if you give them up entirely you will never get them back when Prince George and the younger Royals grow up and need somewhere to live."
