Liev Schreiber and Bel Powley talk A Small Light

Benidorm star Bel Powley has tied the knot with Hollywood actor Douglas Booth after a two-year engagement.

The couple, who were first linked in 2017 after meeting on the film set of Mary Shelley, got married in London over the weekend surrounded by family and friends.

Bel, 32, looked beautiful in a princess dress with a fitted bodice, whilst her new husband Douglas, 31, sported a classic blue suit.

Many of their close friends who attended the ceremony posted heartwarming photos of the couple.

One person shared an image on Instagram of the newlyweds kissing in a garden.

Another photo showed Bel and Douglas kissing on the dancefloor, with Bel in a short cocktail dress.

They added the caption: “A wonderful day celebrating two of the biggest legends and their love for each other – thank you @belpowley and @douglasbooth for all the joy.”

Bel shot to fame after appearing on Benidorm as the fiesty Bianca Dyke.

She has since gone on to appear in highly-acclaimed TV shows such as Everything I Know About Love and Informer.

Bel also appeared in The King of Staten Island opposite Pete Davidson’s character.

Meanwhile, Douglas Booth experienced stardom after appearing in the film, The Riot Club.

He has also Carlo Carlei’s film adaptation of Romeo & Juliet and the BBC adaptation of Great Expectations.

Douglas proposed to Bel on Primrose Hill in July 2021.

She uploaded a photo on her official Instagram page, saying: “Football’s coming home…and so is my husband,” referring to the Euro 2021 Football Tournament.
