Geordie Shore's Aaron Chalmers has become a father for the third time.

Aaron, 35, announced the news on Wednesday, as he posted a snap of himself cradling the newborn to his Instagram stories.

He pasted a GIF that read "bundle of joy" over the baby's face and wrote on top of the snap: "Baby has arrived early this morning" with four red love hart emojis.

Aaron then added: "Going to bed for a couple of hours after a whirlwind of a night," before tagging his partner Talia Oatway.

Talia then reposted it to her own Instagram story, writing: "Been a long, hard few days. Couldn't of done it without my man aaron".

On Thursday Talia took to Instagram to share the first proper snap of the newborn, although its face could not be seen and its gender has yet to be revealed.

Alongside the snap, Talia wrote: "Morning everyone just want to say thank you for all the messages. I no me and Aaron have been quiet but we are having to deal with a lot right now.

"I hope you can appreciate us just having some time to figure out some family things. We have a new baby who we are in love with and who is going to make our family so strong. Thanks again.

"I have the most amazing man supporting me and looking after the other kids at home. He has no idea how much I appreciate him. love you @aaroncgshore"

Aaron and Talia are already parents to Romeo, two, and Maddox, 15 months, and Talia is also mother to an eight year old daughter Siennah from a previous relationship.

In April, Aaron announced the news that Talia was pregnant with their third child, sharing a sweet snap of them with their children.

Posing with a huge personalised blanket with lots of photos of their kids on and sweet moments shared between the couple, Aaron beamed from ear to ear as he held up with Talia.

"ANOTHER BABY CHALMERS ON THE WAY," Aaron penned, adding in excitement: "Can’t believe it we are having another baby! @memoriesbymel have made us the most gorgeous blanket to announce the news to the kids.

"Three babies in 3 years, we must be mad!"

Although the couple were said to be excited, they were also reported to be feeling nervous at the prospect of having three babies under the age of three, as well as Talia being told her pregnancy would be "high risk".

She suffered complications with the birth of Maddox, who was born six weeks early at 33 weeks via emergency C-section.
