Kelsey Parker spots heart-wrenching sign from late husband Tom Parker after grandads death

Kelsey Parker, the widow of Tom Parker, has taken to her Instagram story as she says she's spotted a sign from her late husband following the death of her grandfather.

The actress and documentarian, 32, announced the news of her grandfather's passing on Instagram, where she wrote: "I’m very sad to share that we lost my beloved Grandad 2.12.22. Peter Morris. My Grandad. My hero."

Posting to her Instagram Story she shared a video clip of her two children with their great-grandfather, writing: "We will miss you so much" followed by two heart emojis.

She then shared a photo showing what she says was a sign from her late husband.

The photo shows a single white feather, on the ground, as Kelsey writes: "But I take so much comfort from this today… Signs" followed by a white heart emoji.

She then continues: "Missing both grandad and Tom so much… I wonder what you are both debating about?"

The mum-of-two recently opened up about how grief is something of a taboo subject in the UK.

Speaking to The Sun's Fabulous magazine she said: "Even when I see people, they don’t really want to talk to me about it. Honestly, people cross the road so they don’t have to talk to me."

“It’s crazy. People don’t know what to say. It’s so shocking because Tom was so young. I think they try to put themselves in my position and think ‘I don’t know how she’s actually coping.'"

Kelsey's new ITVBe six-part documentary Life After Tom, will be encouraging people to speak more openly about death, whilst also continuing to keep Tom's memory alive.

The first teaser for this docu-series shows that in the wake of her husband;s untimely passing earlier this year, Kelsey has remained in touch with his bandmates, who keep checking in on the mum-of-two.

The teaser shows her react emotionally to a message from Max George, 34, who contacted her on what would have been Tom's birthday.

“Max George messaged me: ‘How are you coping Kels?’. Messages like that I’m like… what do you want me to say?,” she said to the camera.

“Like, how are you coping, Max?,” Kelsey continued.

However, she went on to acknowledge that she knows Max asked her the question because he genuinely cares how she’s doing, but doubled down on her response of not knowing how to reply.
