King Charles breaks cover for first time after Prince Harry’s explosive revelations

King Charles has broken his cover for the first time since Prince Harry's book leak as he spoke to well-wishers at church on Sunday 8 January – ahead of Harry's ITV interview.

The King was seen for the first time since revelations emerged in his son's new memoir, Spare, which has made a string of controversial allegations about the royal family.

The 74 year old monarch appeared to brush off the drama, as he was seen smiling and laughing as he attended a Sunday Service at St Lawrence's Church in Norfolk and spoke to well wishers.

Charles, who Harry claimed was "jealous" that wife Meghan Markle would "overshadow" him, wore a brown coat as he passed crowds ahead of the church service.

It comes as Harry's ITV interview with Tom Bradby is set to air.

Over the past week, a series of bombshells have already been leaked from the memoir, which is due to be published on Tuesday, after copies were published in Spain.
