Love Is Blind star Bartise Bowden shocks fans as he announces hes a father

Love Is Blind star Bartise Bowden has shocked fans as he announced he has become a father.

The 27 year old appeared on the third season of the hit Netflix dating show last year where we watched as he went through a turbulent time with his fiancée Nancy Rodriguez, who he ultimately said "no" to at the alter.

But in a surprising turn of events, Bartise has shared with his 210k followers on Instagram that he is now a father to a sweet baby boy.

In the post on Friday, the TV personality shared a series of snaps of him and his son with the caption: "Might've been the villain on TV, but I'm gonna be the hero for him. Instagram, meet my little man."

Bartise added a red love heart emoji and a hashtag that read "big fella" but there was no mention of his son's name, age or the child's mother.

The first snap showed the star smiling as he sat on the sofa with his son who was asleep snuggled into his arms, while a short video showed Bartise teaching him to watch golf.

In the recording, he was heard saying, "Ready to see your first ever Tiger Woods golf show? Look at that.

"Let's see if he watches. I used to do this with my dad… there it goes, there it goes, there goes Tiger!"

Then in a selfie from the sofa, Bartise looked relaxed as his son lay in his arms with his hands up to his dummy.

Another photo showed Bartise cradling him as he stood in front of the TV watching what looked like to be the latest series of Love Is Blind. It is unknown if this is inside's Bartise's home.

It showed the tot's car seat, a blue armchair under the TV that is fitted on the wall, a blue hippo cushion along with various pillows on a bench seat to the side under a large mirror.

A smiley snap was also taken outside with Bartise holding him up close to his face as the little tot looked away.

Two other photos showed them both dressed in St Patrick's Day-themed clothing with the baby in a cute green outfit featuring a matching hat with shamrocks on it.

Meanwhile, new dad Bartise wore a plain green t-shirt with a St Patrick's Day necklace and green band on his wrist.

In one of these snaps, the doted father kissed his son's head in affection as he held him close.

Fans were stunned to see the sudden news that the star was now a father and quickly took to the comments.

One person wrote: "I'm gonna need you internet detectives to figure this one out".

While another said: "someone tag me when you find out who the mom is".

"I think we missed a chapter," one commented.

Former Love Is Blind star, Shayne Jansen who appeared in the second season of the Netflix show shared his good wishes and wrote: "Congrats big fella!! Youre going to be a great father and know you have a great support group behind you".

While comedian and media personality Kariselle wrote: "Bartise being the first dad after Perfect Match was not on my bingo card".

The news comes after Bartise was accused of going on a date just days after his wedding to co-star Nancy Rodriguez who he said no to at the alter during the November 2022 Love Is Blind reunion.

Viewers watched as the pair went through their ups and downs during the series, with fans urging Nancy to leave Bartise as he often undermined her looks.

The pair made it to their wedding day after some turbulent weeks and time spent living together, only for Bartise to leave Nancy at the altar after she said 'I do' and he said 'I don't' in the shocking ultimatum.

After parting at the alter Nancy's family openly shared their disapproval of Bartise's decision with Nancy making it clear she did not want to pursue things any further.

However, this wasn't the end of the drama as Nancy and other cast members accused Bartise of going on a date just days after their wedding.

Nancy said she saw photographs and videos of Bartise with a "tall blonde" on social media, but her ex-fiancé said he didn't want to talk about his "sex life" before hinting that he had dated the girl in question.

Following the fallout Bartise spoke to Entertainment Tonight about his role on the show and admitted he was "absolutely, 100 percent, definitely the villain".

He said: "I looked like a dumbass, I looked arrogant. I looked insensitive. I looked selfish".

"It is what it is. I can only learn from it. I can only grow from it".

Although he added: "Watching it back was a blessing to me because when I was going through it, I didn't have any of those feelings and now I do. Embarrassed and ashamed. This is the villain right here".
