Love Island 2019 star Amy Hart yesterday announced the heart-warming news that she and long-term boyfriend Sam Rason are engaged.
Less than 24 hours later however, and the blonde beauty and mum-of-one was forced to hit back at cruel trolls who accused her for faking her emotional proposal video.
Amy, 31, took to Instagram last night to share photos of the special moment, which saw her beau down on one knee, with the TV star admitted it was the "biggest surprise" she could have ever imagined.
Whilst many of her followers took the opportunity to congratulated Amy and Sam – who welcomed their son Stanley earlier this year – some accused her of staging the proposal, which saw Amy surprised during a date night to the theatre.
"Confidence wearing white though," one commented on her choice to wear a white maxi dress, whilst Sam wore a smart navy suit.
Amy was quick to hit back however, confirming she was none the wiser over the proposal after her stylist dressed her in white.
"Not my choice, that was my Jeff Mehmet," she jibed back.
Another follower was quick to defend her as well, adding: "As though people only wear white to wedding related things? What a weird comment?"
In the caption, she wrote: "'And he said…hey, whatcha doin’ the rest of your life?' Well and truly the biggest surprise ever," the 31 year old TV favourite wrote in her caption. "We are so happy (literally thought I was watching show rehearsals hence why I have no shoes on-Amz x)."
Several of Amy' celebrity fans flocked to the comments to share their excitement for the happy couple, who recently celebrated their little boy's christening with a special celebration with their friends and family in tow.
Many of her Love Island co-stars gushed over the news, including Yewande Biala who wrote, "Omg ! Screaming ! Congratulations," Anna Vakili who commented, "Awww congratulations," and Amber Gill who added, "Omgggg congratulations!!"
Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison also commented, "Congratulations gorgeous!!! This is beautiful".
"Congratulations!!", added Good Morning Britain star Charlotte Hawkins.
West End star of Les Miserables and Frozen, Samantha Barks also wrote: "Ahhhh congratulations", whilst TOWIE icon Gemma Collins added, "Congratulations" alongside a series of love-heart emojis.
