Love Island’s Zach Noble furiously denies claims he was ‘homophobic’ at event

Love Island star Zachariah Noble has posted a statement on the circling accusations that he was "homophobic" at an event, vehemently denying the claims.

The 26 year old basketball player, who paired up with Molly Marsh and came fourth during this year's series of the popular reality TV competition, shared a lengthy statement explaining his position on the situation.

Zach, who also sparked fears he and Molly, 21, had secretly split up following a number of cryptic comments on the pair's social media today, Monday 25 September addressed the situation on his Instagram.

"Hey guys, what a long week it's been. I'm embarrassed to have to address this and never imagined I'd be here writing this," the star began on his Instagram stories.

"Over the past few days, I've received a number of hateful messages regarding accusations from last week that are currently circulating the internet.

"So I would like to address this from my side and give clarity that the narrative circulating about me is 100 per cent untrue."

Zach went on to tell his followers that he has "never" in his "life" been "homophobic," and that it was "hurtful" to hear any insinuation that he had been.

The reality TV star also told fans that the accusations were "extremely wrong".

"I am truly saddened to hear that someone was upset that evening but this has nothing to do with me. I wasn't even present at the time of this incident/ misunderstanding," the star went on.

"We live in a society where everyone wants to consider mental health and look out for one another, yet there is still some people online who have clearly forgotten how impactful their words can be and just jump on bandwagons.

"Everyone is so quick to judge and believe and hear things they hear and read even if it's untrue.

"We really need to realise how powerful words can be and find out the real facts before coming at people, especially with people with high platforms as it's these people who has pushed this false narrative onto my name and influence the way people think.

"This is all I have to say on the matter and I hope it brings you lot of closure," the star added.

As Zach put the rumours to rest, fans are more focused on the state of his and Molly's relationship.

Only last week, northern belle Molly debuted a new tattoo which she had gotten in tribute to Zach after only a few weeks together.

The star shared a black and white picture of herself grinning and showing off her new star sign inking on her wrist.

“My Gemini," she captioned the snap, but today, the star has shared a number of "divorce" song lyrics, prompting fans to wonder if there's trouble in paradise for the pair.
