Madonna, 65, has reportedly resumed rehearsals for her upcoming Celebration Tour following her hospitalisation in June for a serious bacterial infection.
The Material Girl hitmaker was sure to celebrate her birthday, with her friend Maha Dakhil posting a series of unfiltered photos to commemorate the pop icon’s 65th.
However, unlike Madonna’s Instagram, Maha didn’t fuss with filers showing the unvarnished side of the singer.
Madonna wowed as she highlighted her natural complexion and emphasized her incredible age-defying beauty.
She didn’t appear to be wearing too much makeup, going for a thick layer of mascara and a glossy lip, as she parted her blonde tresses in the middle, styled in a straight look.

Madonna sported a black lacy corset, paired with black baggy pants with white tiger-like patterned stripes.
In the caption, Maha said of her friend: “Happy birthday to my dear sister, ‘a bride married to amazement’ Viva with that bada** life force. I cherish you.”
The triumphant birthday posts came a day after Madonna announced the rescheduled dates for her Celebration Tour, following a health battle brought on by a serious bacterial infection.
The Celebration tour will now kick off in London on 14 October, three months after it was originally due to begin in Vancouver, Canada.

Most of the US dates have been pushed back to 2024, with only some cancellations.
She has also reportedly started rehearsals, taking over the Nassau Coliseum in New York City for two months to prepare for the global tour.
The hitmaker has also reportedly splashed out on a UK venue to rehearse ahead of her first night at London’s O2 Arena on October 14.
A source told The Sun: “She is very much still in recovery but Madonna has been chomping at the bit to get back to rehearsals.
“Not only has she hired the Coliseum in New York but she’s also hired out a second venue in London for the final week of dress rehearsals.
“Normally she would like to have the final week in the same venue she kicks off in but due to Blink 182’s comeback gigs at the O2 her team won’t be able to get access until the day before.”
Madonna has shared plenty of her birthday festivities on Instagram, toasting during an intimate dinner in Lisbon, Portugal.
In a video shared on social media, the mother-of-six was seen dining with her friends and family as she gave a short speech, declaring: “It’s great to be alive!”
