Chad Michael Murray and Sarah Roemer have announced the arrival of their third child.

Sarah announced the new arrival on Instagram, where she shared a sweet snap of the tot's heart-shaped birthmark,

Captioning the photo, she wrote: "Our baby girl arrived last week with a heart on her ankle. We are so in love! [heart emoji] Soaking up all the baby squishy moments that go by all too fast. @chadmichaelmurray"

Chad then reshared the photo to his own Instagram Story, where he added the text: "Heart full #family [heart emoji] She's here!"

Messages of congratulations were quick to come in, with one fan writing: "Awww congratulations!!! Hope everyone is doing well"

And another added: "Congratulations….i love that birth mark….welcome Little princess [heart emoji]"

"Congratulations Sarah and Chad!! How precious!! [three hearts" penned a third.

The couple shared that they were expecting their third child just weeks before welcoming to newborn, with Sarah sharing a snap of her baby bump last month.

Posing with a friend, also boasting her own bump, Sarah wrote: "Pregnancy with my childhood bestie [sparkle emoji] #3"

Chad shared an announcement to his own Instagram page, sharing a photo of Sarah showing off her bump, which he captioned: "Baby #3 loading… [heart emoji]

"Anyone know any new gadgets for babies? It’s been a bit since we had one. Ps- forgive the quality of the photo- alas I’m still on IPhone 8 becoz I love the button and won’t trade it away. Sometimes I see ppl staring at my phone with button envy and I get it."

Following the news of the pregnancy Chad shared a rather low-key gender reveal, when he shared a compilation of travel photos.

Captioning these he wrote: "We travel this world as a little wolf pack- this baby’s been everywhere already and she’s not even on the outside yet:) Thank you mama for carrying our pack- literally [flexed muscle emoji]

Coming to an airport near you- this family of 5. I can hear it now- 'Uhoh, here come the Murray’s' [three laughing emojis] #babynews #baby #baby#3"

Chad has previously spoken about how life-changing having a family is. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the TV star said: "Having a family just changes your perspective on everything."

"For me, it was the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me."

"Having kids is a game changer, and I think you’re always walking around with the mentality that you want to make sure that they’re proud and you want to represent them well and just be a great leader."
