Strictly Come Dancing stars spark romance rumours with backstage flirting

Strictly Come Dancing’s Molly Rainford and Tyler West have sparked romance rumours after reportedly being spotted flirting at a swish celebrity event.

Molly, 21, and Tyler, 26, are both competing this year's series of the hit BBC show and they've also been spending time together away from the studios.

The dup were snapped together last week and a source has claimed their "flirty" antics have caught the attention of other Strictly cast members and crew.

Fans of the BBC singer and actress may have also noticed that she frequently leaves heart emojis in the comment sections of the Kiss FM DJ’s Instagram posts.

A Strictly insider told The Sun: “Everyone on the show is talking about how flirty the pair are.

“They’re both young and single and have really hit it off and so it feels like romance is on the cards.

“They always seem to be smiling and having a laugh.”

The source added that Tyler is “well known” on set for his banter and friendly nature, which has “definitely impressed” Molly.

On Saturday night, Tyler and his partner Dianne Buswell performed the Cha-cha-cha to Day-O from the Beetlejuice film and earned a score of 35.

Anton Du Beke was particularly floored by the spooky efforts calling it the "best" Cha-Cha-cha he's seen on the show.

While giving his critique he told the pair: "The Cha-cha-cha is a revolting dance. It’s so many steps in a short space of time. I thought it was brilliant. That’s one of the best Cha-cha-cha I have seen on Strictly Come Dancing in a long time."

He further reiterated his comment when pulling out his 10 paddle, saying: "I thought it was the best one I've seen."

Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse both decided it was worthy of a nine, while famously harsh judge Craig Revel Horwood went for the lower score of seven.

Whilst not receiving the same level of praise, Molly did earn herself a respectable 33 out of a possible 40. However, fans of the show were left disappointed by her costume.

During her dance, which was performed to Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill, Molly and partner Carlos Gu dressed as vampires but viewers questioned why the costume department hadn't dressed them as Max and Vecna from Stranger Things.

One fan said: "Costume team missed this week".

Earlier in the series, Molly was linked to pro-dancer Nikita Kuzmin, 24, but he appears to have reunited with on-off German girlfriend Nicole Wirt.

Molly, who found herself in the dance-off last weekend, said on Friday: “Nikita and I are just friends.

“I think it’s because we’re similar ages, we just get on well. I don’t have any time to date. I’m too busy.

“Carlos [Gu] is saying, ‘Absolutely not, you need to be in that rehearsal room, there’s no other distractions for you.”
