Travis Kelce has made a hefty investment for the sake of his privacy as the NFL tight end reportedly splurged for a $6 million mansion just 30 minutes away from his current $1 million mansion in Kansas City.
The 34-year-old is making the move to get a bit more privacy as his relationship with Grammy winner Taylor Swift continues to whip the public into a frenzy with each and every sighting.
The new property is in a gated community with all of the paperwork indicating the sale was completed last Tuesday.
Looking inside the lavish abode, Travis’ new home features a staggering six bedrooms, six bathrooms, multiple entertaining areas, a wine cellar, a sauna and a six-car garage.
The 17,000-square-foot property also has a swimming pool, a large garden, a private gate to the home within the gated community and an expansive patio.
Like any celebrity, Travis’ new home also features some more lavish and unique facilities like a “Beverly-style grand pool area”, an outdoor kitchen, a small waterfall, mini golf course and a tennis court.
While it cost a pretty penny, Travis actually got the property at a bargain as it had been reduced from its original selling price by almost $1 million.
The listing highlighted that the “luxury” property is “nestled into nature and privacy” as it’s surrounded by 3.3 acres of lavish greenery while still being in the heart of the city.
Designed by Wolfgang Trost and built by Harry Roth, the lavish home comes with all of the trimmings, like a chef’s high-end kitchen, full bar and an exercise room, ensuring it meets all the needs for both Travis and, potentially, Taylor.
