Worried Malin Andersson shares update after rushing poorly baby daughter to hospital

Former Love Island star Malin Andersson has updated fans after rushing her unwell baby daughter Xaya to hospital.

The 30 year old wrote on her Instagram stories that her almost one year old baby daughter is “so poorly,” that she’s not responding to the antibiotics being given.

Malin didn’t give her followers anymore information, but finished the post by saying that she plans to stay off social media whilst her daughter recovers.

Malin explained that she’d be off Instagram until Xaya is “okay again,” before adding that she was feeling “depressed and run down.”

A few hours later the star posted a picture of what appeared to be a hospital room, but her daughter isn’t visible in the shot.

Just a week ago, Malin shared a sweet snap of her and her daughter enjoying the cold weather, with Xaya wrapped up in a pink snowsuit and a matching pink and purple winter hat with two pompoms.

Mum Malin, meanwhile, had wrapped up in a trendy all-black outfit with matching fluffy earmuffs to protect against the chilly weather.

In the post, she revealed that Xaya was enjoying her first ever glimpse of snow.

Malin, who describes herself as a motivational speaker, welcomed her daughter on 28 January 2022 – which was the star’s exact due date.

Malin and her ex-boyfriend Jared’s baby joy came three years after Malin tragically lost her first child, a daughter named Consy.

Malin’s first child was born in December 2018 seven weeks premature, and sadly passed away just four weeks later at the beginning of 2019.

The 30 year old shared in June 2022 that she had taken daughter Xaya with her to visit her big sister’s grave, describing it as a “bittersweet,” moment as the place is so “special,” to her but is obviously marred by grief.

Malin has been outspoken about her mental health journey and grieving her first daughter, and released a book about staying positive in 2022 titled Positivity Is Our Superpower: Everything I’ve learned about Trauma, Grief, Confidence and Self-Love.
