Air Fryer fan issues warning about common way they’re used as she shows just how dangerous it can be | The Sun

AN AIR Fryer fan has issued a stark warning about how to use the device, by showing just how dangerous they can be.

The woman – known as the Air Fryer Girl on TikTok – took to the social media site to share a video, which began by showing some cracked glass above a plug hole.

"Turns out you shouldn’t put an air fryer so close to a glass splash back," she wrote.

"Whoops."

She added in the video caption: "Read the instructions people."

Others took to the comments section to reveal their own similar Air Fryer mishaps.

"Yep so funny no one reads the instructions and then ruin their worktops, cabinets and backsplash," someone else wrote.

"Also you should pull it forward if under units as the steam from the back would swell panel, trim and frontals over a period of time, likewise kettles," another suggested.

While someone else said: "You also shouldn’t sit them on silestone / quartz worktops it can cause them to crack like that too!"

Others insisted the socket was the main issue, with one writing: "The air fryer expanded the glass the actual problem is a poorly fitted socket."

"That's an over tightened socket, probably has chipped edges then the steam from the fryer has caused it to crack," another added.

"This looks like pressure from the wall socket, the screws specifically or it has been bumped!" a third commented.
