THE SOCIAL media beauty community is going crazy for a dupe of Clinique's iconic Black Honey lipstick – which retails for more than £17 less.

It's one of the most talked-about make-up products of the season and the internet phenomenon that's gone viral on social media – the Black Honey lipstick by the cult-favourite brand, Clinique.

We've seen the product all over on Instagram and TikTok, with influencers and beauty lovers alike rocking the dark yet sheer lippy.

But whilst it's become a staple for many, the lipstick, which blackened-red tones suit virtually every skin colour, is certainly not afforable.

Less than 2g of the viral product retail for more than £23.30 on the brand's website, making it quite an expensive must-have staple.

Luckily, fans of the lippy have found a dupe, which not only looks just as stunning, but also won't rob your bank account.

The dupe in question is the Hydrating Core Lip Shine by e.l.f. cosmetics in shade Ecstatic.

The product, which is available at Boots, retails for just £6, making it more than £17 cheaper than it's high-end twin.

And fans of the lipstick can't get enough of it, with one positive review on the site reading: ''I bought two of these, lovely and delightful, both look really great.

''I love the suble [subtle] but noticeable glimmer and the depth of colour is perfect for a smart but natural look.''
