YOU'VE spent ages inflating the paddling pool, filling it with water and getting the kids in their swim gear.

But within 10 minutes, the water is full of grass and bugs.



If that frustrating situation sounds annoyingly familiar, you might want to try this mum's clever hack to stop it from happening.

The mum took to her Goldilocks Bears account on TikTok to share the "secret to keeping your pool mess free".

"Keep a bucket or smaller pool beside it to wash feet before entering," she explained.

In the video, she showed her two sons washing their feet in a mini paddling pool, before getting into the main pool clean as a whistle.

"Ta-da, mess free!" she added.

People in the comments section were quick to praise her for sharing the hack, with one writing: "omg I absolutely love this idea…my boys hate when all grass gets in….I will deffo have to try this."

"Our pool used to end up gross within minutes because they are always in and out so this has been a total game changer," the mum replied.

"Defo need to do this after my boys manage to fill ours with mud last week," another added.
