A LAWYER has claimed he has three top tips to get people out of a parking ticket.
The legal expert, Mike Mandell, says you may avoid being penalised, but it depends if you have sufficient evidence.
In a TikTok clip, he told viewers that things could ugly if you persistently ignore an impending parking fine.
Not only will your fine increase, but you may receive a suspended licence and could even wind up in jail.
However, in the case that you’ve been falsely accused there are some options are your disposal.
First, Mike suggests gathering evidence, including taking a picture of where you parked.

“If you didn’t break the rules and still got a ticket, the photo will back you up”, he said.
Secondly Mike suggests checking errors in case the authorities made a mistake on some of your information.
“This makes their case weaker,” he said, noting that it gives defedants a better chance of winning.
Thirdly, appreciating it may sound scary, he says you may have to "suck it up and go to court."

“Just go to court, even if you don’t have evidence,” he said. “Sometimes the cop don’t show up and that usually means you win.”
Meanwhile, another lawyer, known as Angela, believes she has a universal tip for people that have been arrested.
In a TikTok clip, she said: “There’s a window of time between you getting arrested and the DA filing charges.
“This is where wealthy people with good lawyers have a huge leg up.”
Angela claimed: “A good lawyer can potentially negotiate a deal for you even before the charges are filed.
“Maybe even convince the DA to file no charges at all. Public defenders can be amazing.”
She urged those that have been arrested to talk to a lawyer as soon as possible.
