Inside Sarah Ferguson's £5 million home in London's poshest area | The Sun

HAVE you ever wanted to be a fly-on-the-wall in a Royal residency to see how members of the world’s most famous family really live?

Now you can as new pictures have emerged of a property apparently purchased by Sarah Ferguson, or Fergie as she’s more commonly known.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Fergie had invested in a £5 million plush property as a “long term investment” for her daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

The 63-year-old mum-of-two fell for a home in one of London’s most exclusive areas, Mayfair, and is a stone’s throw from the capital’s biggest hotspots.

The Duchess of York, which was previously owned by the Duke of Westminster, was at one point divided up into separate large flats, but she bought it as one entire home.

And it’s certainly fit for Royalty, with copious amounts of traditional furniture, but a very luxurious feel with bold art pieces and natural wood looks.

One of the best examples of this is in the main living room, which is adorned with plush pink and grey patterned sofas.

Meanwhile on the walls there are interesting pieces of art, including a large picture of an elephant.

The room is completed with a large bookcase and flat screen TV, a mirror and an intricate light which acts as a centrepiece.

Elsewhere, the drawing room is different tonally, as it has darker green walls and red and green chairs.

Again, this is finished off with a grand cast iron fireplace, art pieces scattered around the room and various plants and pretty flowers.

In an interview with the Express, Sophie Smith, the founder of Zhoosh Paints described much of the decor as “sumptuous and welcoming – and quite regal.”

While Fergie is thought to have bought the home for her daughters Beatrice, 34, and Eugenie, 32, for the future, they both currently have their own homes.
