Queen Letizia, 50, stepped out in Frankfurt today dressed in a £369 Hugo Boss red leather skirt she has worn many times before. The Queen paired her pencil skirt with a matching red leather jacket.
This skirt has also been worn by the Duchess of Sussex, who wore it at a discussion on gender equality with The Commonwealth Trust back in 2019.
Queen Letizia was the first royal to be seen wearing the skirt though, as she originally wore it to visit South Korea earlier that year.
Today in Frankfurt, Queen Letizia visited the Instituto Cervantes for a panel discussion on a homage to German Hispanism.
The King and Queen of Spain have been making a three-day state visit to Germany, and will travel back home to Spain later on this evening.
In addition to meeting with governmental and institutional leaders in the capital, Their Majesties also travelled to Frankfurt to attend the opening of the Frankfurt Book Fair, at which Spain is the official guest country, and to visit the European Central Bank.
Letizia opted for this figure-hugging ensemble, after wearing more suits and dresses over the last few days in Germany.
She teamed the figure-hugging piece with a matching red leather jacket, presumably from the same brand.
In contrast, Meghan teamed her Hugo Boss skirt with a plum V-neck jumper and no corresponding jacket.
The Queen of Spain wore a plain white T-Shirt underneath her jacket today and finished off her look with a pair of red stiletto heels.
This highlighted her slender frame as she tucked it in at the waist into her fancy designer skirt.
The red stiletto heels also perfectly matched the Duchess’ magenta court shoes from three years ago.
Queen Letizia’s colour ensemble today provided the perfect autumnal look as she visited sites in Frankfurt.
The Queen of Spain could also be seen carrying a scarlet clutch to accessorise to complete her striking red outfit.
Letizia styled her chestnut hair into relaxed waves and opted for a simple make-up look which accentuated her complexion.
Her husband King Felipe, 54, looked dapper in a deep navy suit, worn with a red tie, as the pair were pictured smiling and mingling with crowds during the engagement.
This state visit from Spain to Germany was delayed for a year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
They grinned while talking with attendees at the world’s largest trade fair for books, which runs from October 19 to 23, 2022. Spain is the guest of honour at this year’s event.
Yesterday the royal couple were the event’s special guests for the evening and posed for pictures with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, 66, and his wife Elke Buedenbender, 60.
On Tuesday, the Queen donned a gorgeous fuchsia dress that cost £340 during a visit to Berlin’s historic Brandenburg Gate.
Letizia was wearing a long, hot pink dress underneath a classy beige overcoat from Carolina Herrera, which was paired with a set of heels in a similar hue.
