An Aldi worker dubbed the "hottest supermarket cashier" is feeling the heat from a Lidl employee.

Elaine Victoria first hit headlines after she was labelled the most beautiful checkout worker in Germany.

Known as "Aldi Elaine", the blonde quickly racked up thousands of followers and quit her job to become an influencer.

Now she has over 1.5million fans on TikTok and 254,000 Instagram followers where she posts health and beauty tips.

But another blonde cashier who works for Aldi's rival Lidl is currently taking social media by storm.

And apparently she's bidding for the vacant title.

Lidl cashier Laura, known as "Lu", amassed over 25,000 TikTok followers and 2,000 Instagram fans thanks to her looks.

She shares content as a "Lidl girl" as she refers to herself in the bio.

In a TikTok clip, she said she's spent the last six years working at Lidl but wished she turned to digital content sooner.

Pictured working at the till in her green uniform, the Lidl employee included her wishful hashtag "influencer lifestyle".

One follower wrote: "You look so adorable," while another added: "How can you be so sickly beautiful?"

A third gushed: "I see a beautiful angel," and a fourth chimed in: "You are simply beautiful."
