Damian Lewis has been snapped at Silverstone, ahead of today’s F1 Grand Prix with rocker Allison Mosshart, marking the third time the pair have been seen together in the last 11 days.

The 51-year-old actor lost his wife Helen McCrory over a year ago to cancer.

Allison, 43, a musician from Florida, is best known as a lead vocalist for the rock bands The Kills and The Dead Weather.

Today, the Eton-educated star was spotted smiling as he looked at some of the powerful cars on show, while Allison was snapped standing close by.

Damian looked stylish, wearing a black motorbike-style leather jacket, and pale trousers.

The Eton-educated actor, who has two teenage children from his marriage, still wore his wedding ring. 

Meanwhile, Allison looked sporty, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, over dark trousers. 

Her blonde locks were left loose, and she casually tucked her sunglasses into the collar of her jumper.

The pair have been spotted together a few times in recent months, sparking rumours of a romance.

Last week, they were seen travelling together on a London Overground train.

A fellow passenger who spotted Damian with the blonde singer as they travelled across North London on Thursday said the couple looked ‘100 per cent romantically involved – like they were on a hot date’.

‘I wasn’t sure if it was him at first but his voice is so deep and distinctive,’ the witness said. 

‘But after all he’s been through it is lovely to think he’s found someone new. They looked really happy together.’

A week earlier, the couple were photographed together at a fundraising party for London’s National Gallery but it is unclear if any relationship started.

Damian’s late wife, Peaky Blinders actress Helen McCrory, died in April last year at the age of 52 after a secret battle with breast cancer. They had been married since 2007.

When Helen died in April last year, Damian revealed how his late wife had urged him to find love again, telling him and their son and daughter that she wanted ‘Daddy to have lots of girlfriends.’

Damian added in the social media post: ‘She died as she lived. Fearlessly. God we love her and know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air.’

Rufus Norris, artistic director of the National Theatre, said she was ‘unquestionably one of the great actors of her generation’. 

Helen made her final TV appearance in March last year, joining Lewis on Good Morning Britain to promote their work with The Prince’s Trust charity.

Reps for both Damian Lewis and Allison Mossheart were contacted, but neither replied immediately for comment.
