HOME Bargains shoppers are raving about a new £3.49 alternative to laundry detergent.

So if you are fed up of constantly spending loads of money just to wash your clothes, we’ve got the perfect thing for you.

Bargain hunter Alison Jane Tribe was left stunned when she spotted a cheap find in her local Home Bargains.

Thrilled with her bargain, Alison took to social media, to share her thoughts on the new Dr. Beckmann Magic Leaves laundry detergent sheets, which she nabbed for just £3.49.

Posting on the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private group with a staggering 2.3 million members, the savvy shopper explained: “Tried these today for £3.49 from Home Bargains.

“25 washes, they are lovely if people are on a tight budget or you just don’t want to pay the outrageous prices that I am finding for washing detergent! Plus light to carry home.”

Social media users were left stunned at the cheap buy and many were eager to give them a try.

One person said: “I want to try.” Another tagged a friend and added: “These [are] the ones I saw and was going to try. Look really cool.”

At the same time, many bargain hunters explained they have used these sheets before and would definitely recommend them.

One bargain hunter commented: “They are great for stains.”

A second agreed: “I've been using these for quite a while now and I love them. Half a sheet is adequate for a small load so they are good value too.”

Someone else explained: “They are great too for travelling as they are light and don’t leak/spill. 1/4 of a sheet does one sink load. We took some on our last trip.”

Meanwhile, another user noted: “Just rip them in half so you get twice as many washes from them and they work just as well.”

However, not everyone was as impressed.

One user claimed: “I had these and they didn’t wash well at all.”

A second agreed: “I wasn't impressed, didn't clean very well and on 30 degree wash they didn't dissolve.”
