Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan share glimpse at interiors of mega-mansion with trendy furniture

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have divided fans on social media as they unveiled the first glimpse of the interiors of their luxury mega-mansion on Instagram.

The couple, who spent three years renovating their impressive pad, have been delighting their followers with updates on the progress of their dream home, and even moved in to the swanky Essex pad last year.

However, up until now, most of the furnishings in the home have been a mystery, something the couple were keen to remedy as they unveiled a series of images unveiling their brand new selection of items.

In keeping with their own personal sense of style, Mark and Michelle opted for a a neutral colour palette throughout the home, with various shades of brown, taupe and bronze adding warmth to the otherwise white walls.

One of the most eye catching pieces unveiled by the couple, was a stunning round dining table and matching dining chairs, that looked perfect for entertaining beneath a a bubble chandelier light fitting.

Another new addition to the home was also a chic sideboard unit in a medium-toned wood, while several accessories, including a reed diffuser, two lamps, and vase of flowers added an extra touch of personality to the room.

The new furnishings also gave fans a unique insight into Mark and Michelle’s own personal tastes, as art and sculptures featured frequently throughout the rooms of the house.

In one image shared by the couple, two abstract canvases could be seen taking pride of place beside a small console table and lamp, while in another, two shelves proudly displayed two pieces of sculpted art, complete with backlighting.

Continuing with the same theme, another room, unveiled a similar selection of sculptures and fine art, while a second also showcased another sideboard, this time in a slightly warmer hue, that was once again decorated with lamps and a vase.

However, in a personal touch, this room also featured two photographs of the couple’s wedding, proudly on display for visitors to share in the memory of their happy day.

All of the items featured had been sourced from furniture store Olivias, according to the couple, but while Mark and Michelle had utterly fallen in love with their home, not all of their fans were quite so convinced with the decor choices.

“In our home we have ornaments we’ve collected on holidays over the years, things that are personal to us. NOT someone coming in and styling our house to look like a show house,” argued one fan.

Another also agreed, as they added: “Looks stunning. But now needs to look lived in rather than like an advertisement.”

Similar sentiments were also echoed by a third who weighed in by writing: "Very beautiful pieces but it all looks so bland. Just my opinion!”

Despite the criticism however, some fans couldn’t get enough of the luxe interiors, and were quick to defend the couple for reflecting their own tastes.

“A beautifully styled home, loving all the textures and calming colour tones. Super classy and not a sticky little finger mark in sight! Dream home!” Gushed one fan.

A second also agreed as they added: “Very calming. Very beautiful. I hope you are both very happy living there.”

With a third also writing: “Guys looks amazing and you have created a beautiful house into a home. Well done the both of you.”
