Our dream wedding is turning into a battle after in-laws stormed out of hen party | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: OUR dream wedding is more like a battle scene.

Anything to do with our marriage causes such massive arguments that my chief bridesmaid has had enough and backed out.

Both me and my fiancé are 31, my mum-in-law is 59 and my sister-in-law is 29.

It all came to a head at my hen party.

My future mother-in-law and sister-in-law got drunk and stormed out of the restaurant, saying the food was rubbish.

They thrive on drama and argue about every detail of the wedding arrangements – it’s as if I’m invisible.

DEIDRE SAYS: Your fiancé is avoiding getting involved in these rows but he has to back you up.

Talk to his mum together and say it’s your special day so it has to be your choice.

And get him to ask her to stay sober to avoid scenes.

Is there some-thing she could be in charge of, such as the flowers, so she’s involved?

I’m sending you my support pack, Wedding Worries, to help.
