You can get free coffee from any cafe and supermarket this summer – here's how | The Sun

COFFEE aficionados can pick up a free drink from any cafe and supermarket this summer.

Buying a cup of our favourite coffee can be a nice treat but costs can add up.

To help, new members of TopCashback can grab a takeaway coffee worth up to £3.50 for free.

To get one, you'll need to first buy the coffee from any cafe or supermarket and claim the cost back.

Simply sign up to TopCashback, take a photo of the receipt and upload it to the app.

All coffee drinks are eligible including iced drinks.

The offer is only available for drinks worth up to £3.50.

Shoppers will need to be quick as the deal is only available until August 31.

That isn't the only way people can get a free coffee this month.

Deliveroo has teamed up with Starbucks, GAIL's, Caffe Nero, Joe& the Juice, LEON and Pret to give customers a free iced drink.

Shoppers can type in the code "ICEDAY" into the Deliveroo app at checkout and the price of the drink will be wiped.

But you'll have to hurry as the deal is only available between Saturday, August 19 and Monday, August 21.

There are also 2,000 codes available to redeem.

How else can I save money on food and drink?

Cashback sites have amazing freebies for new customers, such as a takeaway from Just Eat or a Benefit beauty product.

Free gifts can change regularly so do check online to see what is being offered before you sign up.

It’s a good idea to download apps Shopmium, Check-outSmart, Quidco ClickSnap, GreenJinn and TopCashback’s Snap and Save.

Check out what is available, pick it up in-store and upload a photo of the receipt to get your cashback.

Many supermarkets have loyalty schemes and coupons that can give shoppers the chance to get some rewards after a few weeks or months.

And there is always the opportunity to look for stickered items at the end of the day, but there is also a little-known way you can get free and discounted food in minutes by downloading apps like Too Good To Go.

This allows you to rescue end-of-day food from cafes, supermarkets and restaurants that would otherwise go in the bin.

You can also get cashback on other essentials, not just food and drink.

You can claim on things such as MOTs, insurance, train tickets and holidays.
