Tesco shoppers could lose access to their Clubcard points and in-store discounts if they don't download a new app in the next couple of weeks.
Tesco is set to retire its 'Tesco Clubcard' app in favour of a replacement app.
Users of the original app are already being issued with warnings to upgrade to the new programme in order to retain their access to discounts and points.

When Clubcard members log into the app on their phone, they'll be greeted by the message: "We're retiring this app on 18 April".
You're given the option to download the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app as a replacement, which you'll have to use from April 18. The new app will let you see what's in stock at your local store, create shopping lists, and of course, continue collecting Clubcard points and vouchers.
A Tesco spokesperson said: "With the combined power of Clubcard Prices, coupons and vouchers alongside our Reward Partner codes, Clubcard is the best way to get value at Tesco—and our Grocery and Clubcard app is the easiest way to make the most of all your Clubcard has to offer."
"You can use it when shopping online or in-store as a one-stop-shop to save money, collect points and use your vouchers and coupons."
