In shocking scenes, Sarah is suddenly hit with stomach pain, as she’s rushed to hospital.Adam, horrified, races to be by her side, but will everything be okay?
Elsewhere on the street, Jenny grows concerned about the Rovers Return, confiding in Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) that she’s struggling financially. Stephen suggests she reduce portion sizes.
Jenny takes things one step further, however, revealing that she’s putting up prices and room rental, in addition to reducing the staff members’ shifts.
And supernatural events at the Alahans leaves Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) on edge, as he and his loved ones are joined by Bernie Winter (Jane Hazelgrove) and Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) for a special dinner in memory of Sunita (Shobna Gulati), which sees them take a photo together.
Bernie, however, notices that there is a bubble of light hovering above Asha in the picture, suggesting that it’s a human spirit.
Dev is quick to shut such a claim down, but is there more to what Bernie has said than meets the eye?
Coronation Street airs these scenes between Monday July 31 and Friday August 4 on ITV1 and ITVX.
