Alex Jones has distracted The One Show viewers with the latest outfit choice.

The 46-year-old presenter was back on the famous green sofa on Friday (July 28) with co-host Roman Kemp.

The pair welcomed nineties band S Club onto the show to discuss their upcoming tour following the tragic death of band member Paul Cattermole.

However, fans were instead left talking about host Alex's 'OTT' outfit as she slipped her figure into a black top with a huge pink skirt with black polka dots.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "Part dress, part bedspread! #TheOneShow."

Another added: "Alex dress OTT ball gown #TheOneShow"

A third person said: "What in earth is Alex wearing ? Curtains bedspread ? Looks ridiculous #theoneshow."

"WTF is she wearing," someone else said.

"#TheOneShow What the bloody hell is Alex Jones wearing?, a fifth social media typed.

Elsewhere on the show, S Club opened up about their new single These Are The Days.

Jo O'Meara said: "This song was actually written for us 20 years ago and it wasn't right for us back then but it just seemed like the perfect song for us to do.

"It's more about reflecting in a positive and happy way about what a massive character Paul was."

Love Island voiceover Iain Stirling was also a guest and opened up about working on the current series ahead of Monday's (July 31) finale.

The ITV star told Alex and Roman that former contestant Ouzy See previously did work on his aunt's house before he found fame in the villa.

Iain explained: "Because he's from Edinburgh, he did my auntie's kitchen about three years ago.

Roman replied: "No way."

"Yeah" Iain replied, before adding: "My auntie sent a photo in our family WhatsApp chat and said 'this guy is gorgeous he should be on Love Island'

However, Iain later corrected himself and said Ouzy in fact did work on his aunt's bathroom and not kitchen.
