Beyond Paradise episode 6 welcomes

Beyond Paradise: Humphrey Goodman returns to Caribbean

Beyond Paradise will see Humphrey Goodman (played by Kris Marshall) make an exciting return to Saint Marie in the first season’s final episode. This follows on from his fallout with Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton) after she called off their engagement. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about who is in the last episode of the Death in Paradise spin-off.

Who is in Beyond Paradise episode 6?

Kate Nolan – Lily Frazer

Kate looks after Hayley in the upcoming episode and she gives Humphrey a run for his money in a challenging case.

She is played by Lily Frazer, a 34-year-old actress known for her West End and TV roles.

Viewers may recognise her from Ladhood and Hotel Portofino.

She also has experience teaching at Vision Theatre Arts, a children’s performing arts programme.

Hayley Collins – Hannah Traylen

Hayley faces fresh accusations in the final episode, although she is already in plenty of trouble with the local police.

She is played by Hannah Traylen, a British actress known for playing Holly in the film Boiling Point.

She is due to reprise her role in the TV adaptation of the same name.

Her other credits include Ridley Road, Hounded and Hard Times.

Archie Hughes – Jamie Bamber

Archie is feeling terrible after he tried to kiss Martha in a previous episode of the series.

Little does he know, he has jeopardised Martha’s relationship as she contemplated her future with Humphrey.

Archie is played by Jamie Bamber, a 50-year-old actor known for Battlestar Galactica and Law & Order: UK.

He defended Martha and Archie’s relationship in Beyond Paradise, saying: “There’s no bad guy in this, they’re all there, they all like Martha. They both like Martha and they want what’s best for her.

“Obviously Humphrey and Martha aren’t going great, they’re going through a very difficult change of scenery.

“They’re trying to have a family, that’s not working and human beings unravel at those moments.

“I don’t think Archie’s a bad guy for, not proposing an alternative solution, but for being there.”

Viewers will get to see some of the original Death in Paradise cast in the finale as Humphrey returns to Saint Marie.

However, details of who will appear in the crossover are being kept under wraps for the time being.

Viewers believe Humphrey could come across Ralf Little’s Neville Parker, the current detective in the original series.

They also hope to see Commissioner Selwyn Patterson (Don Warrington), who has been a huge source of support for Humphrey in the past.

Humphrey even named his ‘pet’ duck after Selwyn, admitting he missed the commissioner after moving back to Devon.

Beyond Paradise airs on Fridays on BBC One at 8pm.
