Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper has slammed Jeremy Clarkson for his "very dangerous" lack of farming knowledge.

Kaleb, 24, appeared on Tuesday's episode (October 12) of This Morning where he was asked about his famous boss, 62, by show hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

Speaking to Kaleb via a video-link from Chipping Norton, Holly said: "Has Jeremy's instincts towards farming improved any?"

Shaking his head, Kaleb replied: "Erm, no."

Asked if Jeremy was "learning" anything from their time together, the farming contracting added: "No.

"To be honest, how I describe it now, he's got little knowledge and that's very dangerous."

Kaleb's confession was met with laughter from Phil and Holly, who had earlier praised the star on his National Television Award nomination.

During his interview, Kaleb also claimed to have "never read a book in his life" and highlighted the dangers of working on a farm.

He added: "There are so many things on a farm that can either hurt you or kill you.

"It's not a job for me. It's a way of life."

Kaleb rose to fame during the first series of Clarkson's Farm, which debuted on Amazon Prime in June last year.

The series follows the former Top Gear host as he attempts to run his Diddly Squat farm in Chipping Norton.

Following the show's release, the Diddly Squat Farm Shop was besieged with visitors – leading to floods of complaints from local residents in the Oxfordshire town.

Earlier this month, Jeremy was forced to shut the Diddly Squat Farm Café three months after it opened.

Filming for Clarkson's Farm season 2 began last year, with first-look images released back in February.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV. Clarkson's Farm series 2 will air on Amazon Prime.
