Claudia Winkleman was given a taste of what it’s like to dance with with one of the professionals during the Strictly Come Dancing launch. 2022 newcomer Carlos Gu slowly rubbed her arms as he demonstrated how a Rumba should be done.
Viewers of Strictly Come Dancing are used to the presenters Claudia and Tess Daly briefly swaying arms at the end of the show saying: ‘Keep dancing!’
But, Claudia went one step further after she joined in on an impromptu version of the Rumba.
The co-host of the BBC showpiece asked Carlos his favourite dance and when he said it was the Rumba, remarked: “Why the Rumba? That’s just like standing.”
Carlos proceeded to look her in the eye as he delivered a slow rub to her arms, before the host jokingly shouted: “I’m pregnant” to a stunned studio audience.
