THE festive period drama is now over, which only paves the way for more jaw-dropping storylines in the new year.
However, viewers won't be getting their Coronation Street fix tonight as the soap has been cancelled.
The long-running program usually airs from 8pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
But tonight, fans won't be able to take their usual trip to Weatherfield in order to make room for the FA Cup.
Soap schedules have been thrown into chaos again, mere weeks after a series of cancellations in favour of the World Cup.
ITV will be airing the third round of the FA Cup from 7.30pm, during which Manchester United will be facing Everton at the Old Trafford stadium.

Corrie won't be the only evening staple to be shaken by the schedule change.
Viewers will still be able to catch up on all the drama in Emmerdale with a new instalment airing at 7pm.
Coronation Street fans may be hoping to only skip one evening of their favourite program.
Unfortunately, Monday's (January 9, 2023) soap schedule is also set to change.

Once again, Emmerdale will air half an hour early before another FA Cup match kicks off – but Coronation Street has already been scrapped for the evening.
Viewers can expect Oxford United to take on Arsenal at the Kassam Stadium.
This means soap fans will have to wait until Wednesday (January 11, 2023) before hoping to find out how Max Turner will cope with the aftermath of Griff Reynolds' bomb plot.

In its latest instalment, Corrie showed the troubled teen coming to the awful realisation that the activist was planning something big for Weatherfield residents.
Max (played by Paddy Bever) put two and two together and warned fellow residents Alya and Yasmeen Nazir that a bomb had been planted in one of the Speed Daal vans.
When his hunch was revealed to be correct, Alya (Sair Khan) made a bold and heroic move and drove the van as far away as possible from the cobbles.
The vehicle exploded on isolated ground with the restaurant co-owner climbing out just in time.
In upcoming scenes, Max faces more backlash for his involvement with Griff's far-right group.
