Corrie fans go wild as Lucy Fallon poses with co-stars after return ‘confirmed’

Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon sent fans wild after reuniting with her on-screen family as rumours of her return continue to circulate.

The actress, 27, who played Bethany Platt from 2015 until 2020 on the ITV soap, attended her on-screen mum Tina O'Brien's 40th birthday party last weekend.

The former soap star put on a leggy display in a metallic green miniskirt teamed with a white T-shirt and green heels as she partied at the star-studded bash.

In one snap, Lucy could be seen posing next to Tina, who looked sensational in a mirrored minidress and matching towering heels.

The photo also featured Jack P Shepherd who plays Lucy's on-screen uncle David, Julia Goulding who stars as her TV aunt Shona Platt as well as Paddy Bever who portrays David's adoptive son Max.

Corrie fans went wild over the Platt family reunion in the comments, with one writing: "The Platts are back together".

"The Platt family portrait," added a second while another shared: "oh my stop it rn. the PLATTS".

A fourth said: "I can’t wait for your return to Corrie. You’re totally amazing Lucy."

Earlier this month, rumours of Lucy's return to the soap after three years began circulating.

The star was at the centre of some of the soap's most gripping storylines, including her character being groomed by salon owner Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper), whose business was actually a front for a sexual exploitation ring.

A source told the The Sun on Sunday: "Lucy is one of soap’s most talented actresses who won lots of awards for her powerful portrayal of Bethany’s grooming storyline.

"Bosses reached out to her a few weeks ago about the possibility of coming back, and told her everything they’d planned for Bethany if she agreed.

"She discussed it with her boyfriend, and family, because she’s a mum now with a baby. Once they’d talked about childcare, and how best to juggle it all, she was able to say she’d love to return."

Lucy and her footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson welcomed their first child in January, a baby boy named Sonny Jude.
