THE show that celebrates man's best friend is back and fluffier than ever.

Crufts 2023 is for dog lovers around the world and there is still time to get tickets and enjoy the show.

When is Crufts 2023?

Crufts 2023 runs from Thursday, March 19, to Sunday, March 12.

You can watch live judging and highlights from the main arena on Channel 4 and More 4.

As well as showing the perfect pets jump hurdles and chase balls, the TV coverage of Crufts will be educational.

Viewers will learn about dog breeding and ownership, with an emphasis on health and welfare.

Can I buy tickets to Crufts 2023?

The Kennel Club competition is broadcast from the Birmingham NEC but you can go and explore the event in person too.

Tickets are available on the Crufts website and vary in price from £12 to £165.

A ticket to Sunday's famous Best in Show competition could set you back £55.

There are a variety of stands and lots of demonstrations as well as agility trials and other competitions.

Who are the previous winners of Crufts?

Since Crufts started back in 1928 there have been 78 Best in Show winners, with 43 different breeds taking home the trophy.

The award is given to the dog that is chosen as the overall winner of the show.

It is the most prestigious award that a dog can earn.

The winners of each category go head-to-head to be crowned Best In Show.

In the 2022 show, the Gun Dog category produced the overall winner as flat-coated retriever Baxer emerged the victor.

What prize do you get for winning Crufts?

Best in Show winners receive a cash prize of £100.

They also get to take home a replica of the solid silver Crufts Keddall Memorial Trophy.

Winners also often get more money in sponsorship deals and stud fees, with previous puppies from former winners fetching into the thousands.
