Mark Wright’s brother reveals his newborn son is still in hospital after premature birth | The Sun

MARK Wright’s brother Josh has revealed his son is still in hospital after being born prematurely.

The footballer, 33, told last week how his wife Hollie had welcomed their second child 12 weeks early, weighing just 2.4lb.


Today Josh shared a picture with their first child, also called Josh, who was born in February of last year and captioned it: “He won’t be long boy 🙏🤞🏻👶💙.”

Mark commented on the snap with a series of love hearts, and his mum Carol shared: “My handsome men waiting for the new bubba to come home he won’t be long.”

And sister Jess wrote: “He really won’t 💙 love you joshie boy xx (both of you).”

Following the early birth, Josh, who plays as a midfielder for National League South side Ebbsfleet United,  shared a picture of his son in an incubator and wrote: : "At 28weeks, 12 weeks early our beautiful baby boy was born 11.2.23 at 6.08am weighing 2.4lbs.

"The past two weeks have been manic to say the least along with being very scary and emotional but all we can hope for is our ray of sunshine keeps improving and getting stronger ready to come home in the next couple of months please god 🙏🏼."

They added: "Life throws up the unexpected and can be difficult at times but as they say remember there will always be a happy ending if you are willing to fight for it and he certainly seems to be a fighter…. You’ve got this son 💙💙.

Josh and Hollie tied the knot in 2018 in Palma on the Spanish island of Mallorca.
