Dark poisoning twist 'confirmed' as Suki's health gets worse in EastEnders

Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) has left her family concerned after suffering several spells of dizziness in recent EastEnders scenes, but could there be something sinister going on?

Despite husband Nish (Navin Chowdhry) and son Vinny’s (Shiv Jalota) recommendations that Suki go and see a doctor, she chose to open up the Minute Mart instead.

When Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) later saw her outside, she insisted that she lock the place up as she intended on dragging her to the surgery kicking and screaming if necessary.

Even during her appointment, Suki was reluctant to admit that she may need help, insisting that there was nothing wrong with her.

Suki seemed satisfied when the doctor suggested it may just be heat, exhaustion or dehydration, but didn’t take so kindly to being told that it could be mental fatigue or anxiety.

When the doctor asked if she had experienced anything ’emotionally challenging’ in the past few weeks, Suki retorted that being a wife, mother and business owner made every day emotionally challenging.

Suki insisted that whatever it was, she could get through it on her own, though the doctor seemed concerned, writing out a prescription for her should she wish to pick it up.

With Suki so quick to insist that her mental wellbeing is fine, we can’t help but wonder if something else may be the problem, and it just happened to slip beneath the doctor’s radar.

It is no secret that Nish Panesar is a dangerous, controlling man who is prepared to go to great lengths to keep his family under his thumb.

It wasn’t that long ago that Suki revealed that she didn’t love him and had reported his dodgy dealings to the police with the intention of running away with lover Eve.

However, son Vinny caught wind of their plan and gave her an ultimatum – leave Eve or Nish learns everything.

But what if Nish already knows, and has been slowly poisoning her, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) style.

This is a theory that several fans have considered, taking to Twitter to share their ideas.

As well as her dizziness, she admitted to the doctor that she had lost her appetite, both of which can be symptoms of poisoning.

Is Suki really just suffering from stress, or is she in more danger than anybody realises?
