Dermot O’Leary puts head in hands after This Morning guest causes chaos

Sooty and Sweep cause chaos during cooking segment

Clodagh McKenna’s cooking segment descended into chaos on Monday thanks to Sooty and Sweep.

The troublesome puppets caused carnage in the This Morning studio as host Dermot O’Leary hid his face while watching on.

Clodagh had been cooking a special pizza and her sauce was ruined when Sweep plunged Sooty into it.

The Irish chef had been explaining the recipe when the interruption unfolded.

“Then I add the pepperoni,” she explained, adding: “My oven is on, I put them into an oven of about 200 degrees -“

The naughty puppets were standing suspiciously close to the bowl of tomato sauce before Sweep shoved his co-star into it.

“Ohh!” Clodagh yelled as the puppet emerged, covered in sauce.

“Oh Sooty, what did you do?” She asked, adding: “That is so not nice!”

Dermot hid his face in his hands as Alison Hammond laughed at the scene.

“I thought Sweep was the naughty one,” Dermot remarked before Sweep began to squirt Sooty with a water gun.

“Oh, he’s washing his face,” a concerned Clodagh pointed out.

“Are we going to get Lynsay’s carpet cleaner?” Alison joked as Clodagh added: “OK, that’s enough now kids, that’s enough!”
