Emmerdale Chas exit ‘sealed’ as fans expose Moira murder plot after Al affair

Emmerdale fans believe Moira Barton could be out for blood following her discovery of Chas Dingle's affair with Al Chapman.

Moira was informed of her sister-in-law's sordid secret by Belle Dingle during Wednesday (December 14) night's episode.

After Belle figured out that Chas' affair with Al continued up until his death, she confronted her and threatened to tell Paddy Kirk.

As Chas pleaded with Belle not to break her husband's heart by revealing the truth, a conflicted Belle was torn on what to do.

Later, Belle broke down while speaking to Moira and revealed Chas was the identity of Al's mistress, leaving the mum-of-four stunned.

Belle explained to Moira that she believes Al would still be alive and Cain wouldn't be in prison had she exposed their affair when she first found out.

As Moira hugged a sobbing Belle, a wave of fury fell across her face which led fans to believe she could be out for revenge on Chas.

One user penned: "Poor Belle, but like Moira just said none of this is her fault. It's down to Chas Dingle. If she'd just ended it when she first claimed to, Cain never would have found out, Kyle wouldn't have tried to protect his dad and Al would still be alive. Moira's going to kill her."

"#Emmerdale I hope moira makes chas pay for wrecking her life , just cos she wanted something for herself," exclaimed a second.

Another echoed: "Anne Mackle said: "Lookout Chas! Moira is on to you now, better leave the country. #emmerdale."

While a fourth added: Finally. Moira's blood is boiling, bring on the drama. #emmerdale."

Fans believe their is no way back for Chas following her affair with Al, however Emmerdale producer Jane Hudson suggested she can be redeem herself – it just depends on how forgiving fans are.

Speaking to Daily Star and other press, Jane explained: "I think the viewers are always going to find it difficult to forgive her for breaking Paddy’s heart, but I think what we will start to see is Chas doing her absolute best to right her wrongs, and put other people first and acknowledge what she did."

Paddy will learn of his wife's infidelity before Christmas day which is set to tear the couple apart.
