EastEnders, meanwhile, airs a dramatic week for Ben Mitchell, who opens up about his bulimia after Callum Highway returns home from work early to find him purging.
Over in Coronation Street, Adam Barlow spirals out of control in the wake of recent events, while Hollyoaks sees Norma Crow capitalise on Felix Westwood’s involvement in bare-knuckle boxing.
But wait, there’s more! For all the latest and up-to-date gossip from the land of soap we are here to serve, so grab yourself a cuppa, sit back and dive in as we take you through what’s to come.
EastEnders
Ben struggles with his feelings of inadequacy and Honey, having picked up on his behaviour around food, offers him support, encouraging him to talk to Callum. Ben, however, lashes out at her. Honey being Honey refuses to give up, urging him to let Callum in, but a conversation with Phil leads to Ben purging, with Callum arriving home early and catching him. Things subsequently go horribly wrong.
Kat offers Ben support when she realises what’s on his mind, offering her perspective as a survivor of rape, warning him he’ll destroy himself and everyone he loves if he doesn’t seek help. Ben reluctantly agrees to attend a support group, with Kat accompanying him, before he returns home to speak to Callum.
Patrick dishes out love advice in Kim’s latest vlog, but he soon receives a big shock when Yolande arrives on his doorstep, revealing that her boyfriend has kicked her out as she asks if she can stay with him. Patrick is not so sure, which leaves Yolande upset, with Denise subsequently urging him to fight for his one true love. Will Patrick take her advice?
On Peach’s due date, Zack gets good news: his viral load is now undetectable. As he and Whitney spend time at their daughter’s tree, Zack suggests they could try for another baby. Whitney breaks his heart when she later reveals she can never put her body through that again and doesn’t want to try for another baby.
Coronation Street
Stephen is thrown into panic when Lou, Rufus’ widow, arrives, claiming foul play was involved in her husband’s death. The coroner rules that the death was by misadventure, but Stephen isn’t out of the woods yet as a subsequent memorial for Rufus sees Lou in possession of his tie pin, which was found at the pool, and she intends to show the police!
Gemma, based on an idea from George, contemplates using her womanly wiles to get Henry to change his mind about buying the Rovers, desperate to save the pub. The barmaid arrives at the hotel to find ex Henry, who is keen to spend some time with her. Chesney, however, gets wind of the plan and heads for the hotel.
Adam, desperate to forget about the past few weeks, goes on a night out. He subsequently returns home and, in a bid to make Sarah jealous, he tells Daniel he had a great night and didn’t get much sleep.
Emmerdale
Laurel decides she’s going to join Jai in India and thus heads off to retrieve Marshall’s passport. In doing so, however, she comes face-to-face with Colin, who locks her in Marshall’s bedroom.
Colin’s behaviour escalates, leaving Laurel fearing for her life. Arthur reveals to a concerned Jai, Suni and Nicola where Laurel went, leaving them worried. Colin, meanwhile, sends a text from Laurel’s phone, implying she’s relapsed, leaving her devastated. A police officer’s arrival prolongs Laurel’s ordeal, while Jai and Suni take matter into their own hands. But will Laurel be located?
Amelia suggests that she and Dan go on the run together to Ireland. Dan isn’t keen but Amelia insists the right call, leaving the mechanic seeking advice and assistance from Cain on fleeing the country. Cain provides ferry tickets, an old car and a burner phone, with the plan set in motion, with Amelia and Dan sharing a sad smile as they contemplate saying goodbye to Emmerdale.
Nate is told by Corey amid his training that there are opportunities to make extra cash on the side, much to his glee. A client named Harry arrives, and he’s impressed with Nate, who does as Corey requests in throwing Caleb off the scent about the dodgy dealings. Things take a turn, however, with Nate desperate to get out, but he soon realises that getting on the wrong side of Harry could be very bad for him.
Hollyoaks
Norma lines up a fight for Felix, unaware their conversation has been overheard by Sharon, who subsequently begs Felix to reconsider. Ella’s birthday approaches, with Cindy organising a special party at The Loft, courtesy of Dave’s assistance. Norma, however, instructs Sienna to cancel the party, with Ella lashing out at Warren, leaving Norma’s interest piqued, as she vows to find out the reason why the teen has an issue with Warren.
With the party subsequently back on the cards, Ella is on cloud nine – that is, until Shing Lin, still devastated over Charlie having cheated on her with Ella, takes to the stage and grabs the microphone. But just what is she going to reveal?
