Samson Dingle’s (Sam Hall) body is found in Emmerdale next week – but whether he’s alive or not is another issue entirely.
It was only established the teen had gone missing towards the end of the soap’s 50th anniversary week, as Lydia (Karen Blick) and Sam (James Hooton) believed that he was at a friend’s house, safe from the storm.
However, after Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) failed to get hold of him, it soon became apparent no one actually knew where Samson was.
As a search got underway during Friday’s (October 21) episode, Lydia, Nate (Jurell Carter) and Belle headed off in one direction after finding Samson’s phone, failing to realise he was underneath them the entire time.
Samson’s body was seen under a pile of leaves under a bridge – clearly, he was attempting to keep warm and take shelter but as this new video shows, we’re not quite sure what state he is in.
It’s Mack (Lawrence Robb) and Noah (Jack Downham) who find Samson, as Noah told Amelia (Daisy Campbell) – the mother of Samson’s daughter – he would continue the search.
Noah and Mack remove some of the leaves once they spot Samson’s body, but has he survived?
He’s potentially been there for a good couple of days in autumn, during a storm when temperatures are low.
Has Samson’s quick thinking with the blanket of leaves saved his life?
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Monday October 24 at 7:30pm on ITV.
