Emmerdale kicked off its 50th anniversary week in a truly explosive fashion.

The ITV soap is marking the milestone in a big way, with a catastrophic storm wreaking havoc on the eponymous village.

Amid all the chaos, Kim Tate (Claire King) and Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) walk down the aisle, while Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) goes missing.

Amelia has found herself trapped in barn amid the storm, after a romantic picnic with Noah Dingle didn’t go exactly as planned.

With the wind picking up, the above clip sees the teen desperately trying to get in touch with her loved ones – just as her phone battery dies!

Amelia prays for the safety of both she and her baby but she soon goes into labour – will she be found before it’s too late?

Lydia is just one of several residents out looking for missing Amelia as the storm picks up.

The above clip sees her in the countryside, taking a look around as the wind becomes severe.
