Emmerdale star Sammy Winward branded bombshell by former co-star in glam snap

Former Emmerdale actress Sammy Winward had fans in a frenzy with her stunning glow-up as she posed for a glam snap alongside one of her former co-stars.

Sammy played Katie Sugden in the ITV soap from 2001 until 2015 when she was killed off during a row with Robert.

The star let her blonde locks fall in a sleek ‘do past her shoulders as she snuggled up in a blue and red woollen jacket – posing alongside her former co-star Roxy Shahidi, who plays Leyla Cavanagh on the soap.

Roxy was also left glowing in the sweet snap, wrapped in a beige cardigan as she let her brunette tresses hang loose, adding a swipe of pink gloss to her lips and bold liner around her eyes.

The pair cosied up together with their arms around each other as they both beamed for the camera.

Typing on Instagram, Roxy captioned her snap: “Dream day with this blinking bombshell!”

Sammy was quick to respond: “The best day. Fringe twins in York!”

But their other ex co-star Charley Webb – best known for her role as Debbie Dingle until she quit last year – couldn’t help but chime in: “Sorry, am I missing somewhere…..”

Other fans simply couldn’t contain themselves at the soap bombshells’ beauty, with one penning: “Beautiful ladies!”

“Classy looking twins with fringes. Suits you both!” someone else gushed, as a third fan said: “Two stunningly beautiful ladies.”

Another social media user said: “Both of you are gorgeous!”

Since she quit the soap more than seven years ago, Sammy has been living her life mostly away from the spotlight, and even got married in secret, along with raising her teen daughter.
