Emmerdale icon Kim Tate (played by Claire King) has been looking forward to seeing her granddaughter Millie (Willow Bell). Millie has been living with her other grandmother Hazel (Kate Anthony) and keeping the dark secret that her father Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) is alive and well. Jamie was thought to have died back in September 2021 after attempting to free himself from Kim’s scheming clutches. Faking his death, Jamie was able to flee the village and start a new life. However, in upcoming scenes, Kim is set for a heartbreaking shock as she learns Jamie is alive and Millie goes missing.

Official spoilers for next week reveal that Kim becomes frustrated when Hazel and Millie haven’t turned up on time.

She soon learns that Hazel has been in an accident and is rushed to the hospital where she reveals to Kim she was pushed down the stairs by Jamie.

Realising her slip up, Hazel becomes worried when Kim insists she tells her exactly what her son has been up to.

Hazel fills Kim in on all the details of her recent time spent with Jamie, including how he has played a part in Millie’s upbringing.

Furious at the revelation, Kim wastes no time in calling the police to report him for attempted murder, leaving Millie scared and confused.

Kim is determined to keep Millie safe now that she knows the truth about Jamie, but soon notices Millie is shy when returning home to Home Farm.

Later, Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley), Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) struggle to get their heads around the news Jamie is still alive.

Kim is finally left alone and the years of hurt and betrayal from Jamie come to the surface as a weeping Kim smashes up the Home Farm living room.

The next day, the police turn up and show Kim definitive proof that Jamie is alive, with Millie soon overhearing Kim talking about her dad.

Confused and upset over what she had heard from Kim, Millie reacts badly and decided to run out of Home Farm.

Kim soon realises that Millie is nowhere to be found in the house and becomes anxious when Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) informs her Millie hasn’t been found.

Could Millie have wanted to return home with Hazel and Jamie and gotten lost on the way?

Knowing she messed up, Hazel could have informed Jamie of the news that Kim knows he is alive, leaving him to make his way to Home Farm.

Jamie could have seen Millie wandering away from Home Farm and asked her to go with him.

Is Jamie playing the doting father or could he be using his own daughter as a pawn in his sick games with Kim?

Kidnapping Millie could come as a bargaining chip for the troubled Tate family, leaving her life in danger.

Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw opened up about the upcoming storyline that sees Jamie reappear at Home Farm.

She told Digital Spy: “Up at Home Farm, we know that Jamie Tate is actually still alive, so obviously that info is still to come out.

“And what will Kim do once she knows? We know what a tough cookie Kim is, but we also know that Jamie is her Achilles’ heel, so we can expect huge fireworks if she ever finds out how much he has betrayed her.”

Emmerdale airs weeknights from 7pm on ITV.
