Emmerdale: Cain Dingle tells sister Charity no-one wants her

After learning about Mackenzie Boyd’s (played by Lawrence Robb) engagement news in Emmerdale, his ex-wife Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) turns on the charm with flustered Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) on their date.

During their romantic evening, Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) and Mack arrive at the B&B and are seated at the table next to them.

Jealousy soon rises and Charity’s mask slips as she lashes out at Liam across the table.

The following day, Charity is dragged into a conversation in the playground with Chloe before a cry from Reuben and a temperature makes the young mother paranoid.

She starts thinking about his meningitis – and with no one else to ask – Chloe begs a reluctant Charity to take her and poorly Reuben to the hospital.

Once they arrive, a cold Charity does her best to comfort a thankful Chloe for being with her.

After the baby is given the all-clear by doctors, Chloe’s pleased to be clearing the air with Charity.

As it stands, Chloe is blissfully unaware Charity slept with her fiance this summer on the day of Reuben’s Christening.

Will Charity take this opportunity to tell her the truth about her evening of lust with Mack?

Charity was left heartbroken when she discovered Mack slept with Chloe when they were in a relationship.

She learned Mack was Reuben’s father just moments after tying the knot with the Scotsman earlier this year.

Charity broke up with Mack and he has been trying to be a family unit with Chloe ever since.

Emmerdale bosses have teased the trio will be at the heart of Super Soap Week’s explosive storyline next month.

Pictures from filming suggest a devastating car crash will happen on the ITV soap soon, with Chloe trapped in the vehicle.

ITV has kept tight-lipped on the storyline, but it is thought viewers will watch on in horror as Chloe’s car plunges off a cliff leaving her injured or even dead. 

Mack and Charity are also caught up in the scenes, both looking injured from the rumoured crash. 

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
