HELEN Flanagan's sweet social media post to mark the end of the summer holidays has fallen foul of mum-shaming trolls.

The actress-turned-influencer, 33, lamented sending two of her children back to school after six weeks of family fun.


Cuddling eldest Matilda, eight, she wrote on Instagram: "Don’t want my babies to go back tomorrow. Best summer with them, memories made x."

She was challenged by some followers, who doubted her view.

One sniped: "Said no mum ever (can’t wait send mine back)."

A second posted: "Bulls**t you can't wait for it."

By and large, Helen's followers complimented her mothering skills.

"You seem to be a great mum," said one cheerleader.

Another shared: "What a mother you are."

A third reassured her: "I love this you are amazing mum to your children. I always notice you are your self not who some else wants to be.

Helen's daughter Matilda recently landed her first job as a model for childrenswear brand AMIAH-RAE.
