Horror fans left ‘screaming at the screen and having nightmares’ after watching Smile on Amazon Prime | The Sun

HORROR fans were left ‘screaming at the screen and having nightmares’ after watching Smile on Amazon Prime.

The terrifying psychological horror film, released in the US back in September 2022, has just dropped on the popular streaming site.

Smile, which is based based on director and writer Parker Finn's short film Laura Hasn't Slept, was a surprise box office smash last year.

It follows the story of a therapist Dr Rose Cotter who watches a patient commit suicide in front of her – and the aftermath of it.

The student, named Laura Weaver, tells Rose that people with a distinctive smile have been following her around, saying she is going to die.

The plot revolves around this creepy contagious smile – once you see it, you become cursed.
