Huge star signs up for I'm A Celebrity All Stars leaving his very famous wife alone with the kids for weeks | The Sun

IF there’s one man who knows how to conquer the jungle it’s an ex King who also used to host the spin-off show.

So if you want to place your bets on who is going to win the All Stars version of I’m A Celebrity, I’d be heading to Ladbrokes to put money on Joe Swash.

I’m told Joe — married to former X Factor singer Stacey Solomon — has flown to South Africa to take part in the show.

The ex EastEnders actor won the 2008 series and hosted the ITV2 sister show for ten years from 2009. He will join the likes of Myleene Klass, Jordan Banjo and Paul Burrell in the pre-recorded series which will air next year.

Joe is currently in Kruger National Park where he will be hoping to be the first double winner of the legendary show.

A source said: “Joe was always on the producers’ hit list as he was such an iconic winner. But they had to iron out the timings and came to a conclusion that worked.

“He has flown out there and can’t wait to give a good account of himself for a second time on the show.”

Joe’s wife Stacey — who he married in July and has two children with — hinted that Joe had gone abroad for a work trip over the weekend.

Loose Women star Stacey posted a picture of son Rex, three, and baby daughter Rose with the caption: “Since Joe’s been away the last couple of weeks these two have got so close to each other and every morning they get into bed with me.”

Joe has traded a lie-in with his wife and kids in a comfy bed for a hammock full of cockroaches and spiders.

I’m a Celebrity legend leaves show after 20 years ahead of new series

GARETH IS SAS RECRUIT

RUGBY legend Gareth Thomas is the latest star to sign up for Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Welsh sportsman Gareth has flown out with his co-stars to Vietnam, where the eighth series is being filmed.

In previous years the show has taken place in locations including the Scottish island of Raasay and central Chile.

Yesterday I confirmed former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton had signed up for the show.

An insider said: “Gareth is a fantastic name and the production team think he will make for some fantastic television.

“Channel 4 and the production team decided to switch up the location after filming in Jordan for the series that is on screen now. Everyone working on the series is hugely excited about the new show.”

ALI HAS TIME OF HER LIFE

ALISON HAMMOND shed happy tears as famous faces congratulated her for 20 years on This Morning in a surprise This Is Your Life-style best-bits compilation.

The popular presenter, who has risen from roving reporter to Friday co-host, was sent to Birmingham thinking she was meeting a Dosh On Your Doorstep winner.

But fellow show host Josie Gibson and Alison’s Big Brother 3 pal Kate Lawler answered the door and took her to the Midlands Arts Centre.

There, infront of an audience, she was treated to a look back over her life – including a spell acting – and was played video messages from stars including Rylan Clark, her co-host Dermot O'Leary, Rick Astley, Davina McCall, Adrian Lester and Strictly partner Aljaz Skorjanec.

Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield orchestrated the celebration – which aired live – from the This Morning studio.

Alison said: “I’ve had the best 20 years and thank you viewers for watching. All I ever want to do is make you guys happy.”

She’s certainly done that.

RYLAN IN SEXY TURN AS CILLA

HE’s got the teeth for it, now Rylan Clark is going full on Cilla Black.

He is helping a bunch of singletons find love in new Channel 4 series Sex Rated.

But unlike matchmaking show Blind Date, he’ll work with an expert sexologist to find out where participants are going wrong in the bedroom – aided by frank feedback from exes – to help them in future relationships.

Rylan says: “This show is all about sex positivity as I delve into the love life of the nation.”

The series of six hour-long episodes will air next year.

Sounds a lorra lorra fun.

WESTMINSTER WANNABES

MOST politicians try to avoid being robotic – but just try telling that to the wannabes on tonight’s first episode of Make Me Prime Minister on Channel 4 at 9.15pm.

One of the contestants on the new show, Natalie, was challenged with getting submerged in the world of education by show mentors Alastair Campbell and Baroness Warsi.

Christmas contest

STARS from the UK’s biggest TV shows will compete in groups in a singing contest this Christmas.

Judges Alesha Dixon, Will.I.am, Jason Manford and Adam Lambert will run the rule over the famous warblers on ITV’s Britain Get Singing.

The one-off 90-minute special, hosted by Roman Kemp, forms part of ITV’s mental health campaign Britain Get Talking.
