I’m A Celebrity viewers spot two new campmate ‘feuds’ after Fred Sirieix clues

Fans of I'm A Celebrity believe they have identified warning signs that two new feuds involving Fred Sirieix are brewing in camp.

In the opening week of this year's series of the ITV show, First Dates star Fred was famously involved in a spat with axed co-star Nella Rose, who accused him of making "insensitive" remarks about her dad. After Fred apologised despite believing he hadn't done anything wrong, YouTuber Nella continued to call out the Frenchman sparking a backlash amongst viewers.

Nella quickly went from one of the bookmakers' favourites to win the competition, to the campmate being forced to take part in the most Bushtucker trials and the second to be voted out. Fred on the other hand, saw his popularity briefly grow – until he was stood down from being camp chef and accused of interfering with replacement Josie Gibson's culinary work.

Fred, 51, has repeatedly questioned the This Morning star's techniques in recent days – something which came to ahead as he spoke in the Bush Telegraph on Monday (December 4).

"There’s no method, there’s no technique – she just wings it and invents it as she goes along," he complained. "It’s better if I look away and stay away from the kitchen Because that just drives me crazy."

Later in the episode, Fred seemed to be trying to alienate himself further by insisting it should be he who takes on the Celebrity Distressing Rooms in the latest Bushtucker trial, rather than Tony Bellew. "I will go. I will go. Because I haven’t done one yet. So, I’m going," he told his fellow campmates.

IBoxer Tony hit back: "Let’s just take our time and everyone have a little say of why they think they should do it before we just jump in and rush off. Chill out Freds." It prompted Fred to reiterate his stance, suggesting there could be more friction between the two later on in the series. "I’m going to go. I want to go because I want to go and do my best to bring the stars, to bring stars back for you," he said.

"If everybody agrees that I’m going, then we’re done. This camp has all been equal… it’s only fair I go. If you want me to go, just say. Can you vote for me? Thank you. I am delighted."

Angry at Fred's antics, viewers took to X (formerly Twitter) after the broadcast to hit out at the star. One user wrote: "I get that Fred is a professional chef but the way he’s handling himself towards Josie and Tony with their cooking is so rude." Another added: "Very much regret defending Fred at the start. Nella was actually right about him. watching her leaving interview last night she simply reacted how she felt in an extremely heightened environment."

A third commented: "Fred was so harmless and easy going, until he was no longer camp chef and now he's turned into a miserable, monster." And a fourth said: "Fred just gives off major control freak vibes because he already has done a trial but now he wants to do another one with the same person who he then disregarded very arrogantly about how he wanted to a trial but Fred put himself forward and now he is doing another one."
